As always, I’ve added screen captures (yes, in awesome HD quality) from last night’s episode of Ugly Betty to the gallery. It’s called 4.18 “London Calling” and was a very eventful episode with lots of great lines from Becki Newton’s Amanda. She made a big decision for her career and I’m really excited to see where it’ll take her.

ABC finally released the sneak peeks for tonight’s episode of Ugly Betty, titled 4.18 “London Calling”, for us to watch. As they are very spoiler-y (they are sneek peaks from the episode, after all) I won’t post about anything that happens in them. If you want to see the ones featuring Amanda, they are posted below (with the third one after the cut). Be sure to tune in to ABC tonight at 10 PM to catch the full episode!

Thanks to Michael Urie’s Twitter-account, we have a picture of Urie, Becki Newton and America Ferrera from their last day of shooting. It must have been such a bittersweet day for all of them, I can only imagine. The final episode of Ugly Betty will air on April 14. As promised, I have added HD screen captures from last night’s episode of Ugly Betty; 4.17 “Million Dollar Smile”. It was another great episode, and Betty finally got her braces off! Becki Newton was hot and awesome as always, as Amanda. Can you believe that there are only three (!) episodes left of the show? Kinda sad. According to Entertainment Weekly’s Ausiello, Jennifer Love Hewitt is set to guest star in the pilot episode of Love Bites. Here’s what he said about her role and the series, written by Cindy Chupack (Sex and the City).
Details about her cameo are being kept under wraps, but a Peacock insider tells me that Hewitt will play herself. My guess? One of the show’s lovelorn leads — portrayed by Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton and My Boys‘ Jordana Spiro — will meet Hewitt at a signing for her new memoir-slash-advice book, The Day I Shot Cupid. But I’m just spitballing.
Love Bites is an anthology-esque dramedy that follows three loosely connected stories of love, dating, and marriage each week. In addition to Hewitt, the pilot’s impressive guest cast includes Heroes‘ Greg Grunberg, Lipstick Jungle’s Lindsay Price, Sex and the City’s Jason Lewis, and The Office’s Craig Robinson.
Sneak peeks from the next episode of Ugly Betty – 4.17 “Million Dollar Smile” – have been released, and two of them feature Becki Newton’s Amanda. According to online reports, the pilot episode for Love Bites is set to be filmed next week on location in San Francisco. As reported earlier, Love Bites is a romantic anthology that will focus on two characters, Becki Newton’s Annie and Jordana Spiro’s Frannie. Frannie, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is a “career bridesmaid” who’s tired of being single, while her friend Annie is an optimist who’s saving herself for marriage.
More information about Love Bites will be added when it becomes available.
Also, Michael Urie (Marc St. James) tweeted earlier today that they’re currently filming the series finale of Ugly Betty. It will air on April 14.
